I just posted a new installer that should get rid of the pre-reg error you're getting. If you run it, it will give you the option to uninstall ALL software. I hope after you run it, you'll try again to install the protocol selection of choice.
The only issue you might have with our service is in some instances where UDP is being blocked pretty much completely. But the fact that you were assigned a UID tells me the installer is communicating with our backend. So I'm guessing it's something else in your environment that's breaking the installer. Worse comes to worse, I if you install the parts, I can walk you through getting things up and running.
