Following the example code posted here: http://forum.weaved.com/t/simple-python-program-to-send-ios-push-notifications-of-your-choosing/92
I came up with this
from subprocess import call
name = input('What is your name?\n')
print ("Hi, %s." % name)
call(["/usr/bin/notify_Weavedweb5000.sh", "1", name, "ok"])
This sends me a push notification but there is not content. It just sends an alert. I would like to send my own message but I am unable to figure it out.
Even when running
/usr/bin/notify_Weavedweb5000.sh 1 'User logged into your Pi' 'ok'
All it does is send a status alert to my phone.
/usr/bin/notify.sh exits with error 2. Replacing it with
~/weaved_software/scripts/send_notification.sh (as suggested in the other post) gives me a file not found error.
What am I doing wrong? And is there any documentation I can read?
Edit: Just noticed that the "alerts" section of the weaver app has the text I have been sending. Any way to actually show it in the notification that appears on my phone?
